Selling one project to make room for the other
I have a complete rolling 69 SWB chassis with a TON of work done on it that I'm going to sell to make room for my 72 I just got not long ago. I'd like to sell the chassis whole but if there isn't any interest I'll probably part it out at a later date. Here is a list of parts and what has been done.
The chassis was stripped, c-notched (weld in), primed and powdercoated. All of the suspension pieces, front and rear were stripped and powdercoated. Parts, starting at the front... Front Crossmember is new New POL Tubular SB motor mounts All new ball joints/tie rod ends New cross shafts upper and lower ECE 2.5" drop spindles New front rotors New front calipers (5 lug) New wheel bearings/seals New CPP tubular trans crossmember New ECE drop center crossmember New trailing arm bushings New rear shock relocators New CPP 2" drop blocks New KYB Shocks all around 2/4 drop New CPP 2" drop springs (front) New CPP 4" drop springs (rear) New CPP C-notches New custom built driveshaft New POL 19 gallon baffled aluminum fuel tank w/sender New CPP curved panhard bar New rear crossmember 3.07 Posi rear end w/disc brakes (5 lug) cleaned/painted New Glocks rear caliper mounts New rear impala rotors Rear camaro calipers Steering Box 1 1/8 front sway bar All of the parts and powdercoating cost alone total up to better than $3700. I can e-mail a list of what I paid for all this stuff if anyone is interested. That $3700 doesn't figure in any labor or shipping costs either. I'd like to get $3000 for it. This is a quality piece that will save somebody a ton of time on their project. All of the hard work is already done. Run some plumbing on it and put a body and a motor on it and your done. I'll include a set of wheels and tires to roll it around with. Oh and I can provide a good title and cab VIN plates with it too.

Re: Selling one project to make room for the other
The rallys in the pic don't go with the truck, the ones in this pic do. (I have all four hub caps) I also have some extras that I'll throw in with the truck including a passenger side SWB fleet bedside, a bench seat, a hood (if I still have it) and a box of door hinges, hood hinges and some other odds and ends.

Re: Selling one project to make room for the other
I haven't individually priced anything yet. I'm going to give this some time to simmer first because it's a lot less hassle than boxing all this stuff up and ship it then be left with a non-rolling frame. As far as know they will fit your Suburban but I'm not the expert here. They are set up for disc brakes though, not sure if yours is. I'm sure one of the big brains will know if they will fit. I'll give you a shout back when/if parting out time happens.

Re: Selling one project to make room for the other
I wish you luck on selling it complete. Sounds like a deal considering all the good parts and labor in it. But if you decide to part it, I'd be interested in the POL Tubular SB motor mounts and the CPP curved panhard bar, pending prices.

Re: Selling one project to make room for the other
Nothing on the 72 is for sale. I just put that pic up to show the wheels and caps that will go with the chassis. Thanks though.

Re: Selling one project to make room for the other
I have a 72 LWB rolling chassis that has many of the same things done to, sandblasted/powdercoated, new front end, new brake all around, rear end gone through, etc, would you be willing to trade and me give some cash to boot ?

I'm not really looking for another one. I have three now. I'm trying to get rid of one. I appreciate the offer though.

Re: Selling one project to make room for the other
4.5" in the front, 6" in the back. I goofed in the original post the blocks are 2" not 1". It should be pretty much level

Re: Selling one project to make room for the other
Man I hear ya. It's just that I have a good solid 72 LWB that I'm really not interested in doing anything with other than making it mechanically sound and driving the hell out of it. I've already done the front end rebuild and brakes. I'm putting a motor and trans in it and I'm done. I do appreciate the offer but I'm just not going that direction with this truck.
I am getting ready to make a little road trip across I-10 to FLA in a couple weeks though. If you bought mine we could work something out on delivery.

Re: Selling one project to make room for the other
if you have time right now just give me a call to discuss some things about your chassis.... I am a little green at this, the lowering and such, and I have a few questions...
