No jon...you buttwrinkle! haha
A motor is somethint totally different. Its not something that changes the style or lines of a truck. Most of us like these trucks for the classic bodyline. If you go and put a round front on them , it makes them look out of place ..to me. The burban front grill is something that is part of the same body style for our trucks from the factory. The 88+ front end from the trucks is not.

As for the girlfriend...you will have to ask Greg to unlock her from his garage if you wanna take a run at her!! lol

I still say why do all that work and have a hood that looks like the result of a car wreck.

I totally agree with Dave and the others who don't care for this mod. It's blending two totally different body styles together. The 73-87 trucks are square like bricks, and the 88+ are smooth and rounded. I like them both, but not together on the same truck. I love the square, boxy style of trucks the best, though.

The 88+ stepsides don't look good on our trucks either. However, they look really sweet on the '67-72 trucks, since those body styles are smooth and rounded as well.

This is all just MHO. By all means, do what YOU like! Who cares what everyone else thinks! I mean, I love 6.2L diesels for crying out loud!

I just dont understand it. These are some of the best body style trucks of all time. Why would you want to change anything bodywise. I can see smaller mods like shaving and stuff like that, but no major body part replacements. I still dont understand why people change the tail lights . Anyway I vote for no on the mod, they just dont look as good.
Ohh yeah, Im not trying to start a war, but I think the 80's look better then the 70's

are you on crack!

80's look waaay too boxy...especially with the egg-crate grills and sguare front ends. Not only that, but they also came with 305's for the most part...most 70's at least has 350's!

I think the original stance of the 80's trucks are cool. Other than that...I'll bet my truck could beat up your truck!
