New from Arizona
Hello,
I recently herd about this site so I thought I would check it out. I have spent some time the last few days looking at pics of members’ trucks, and checking out some the build threads which I have really enjoyed. My truck is a 65 long fleet side. I have had it for about 8 years. I still have a few finishing touches for it but the truck is basically finished, for now. My user name is EVLPMKN (Evil Pumpkin) which is the name of my truck and my personalized plate. Since this is my first post I will try to attach a pic of my truck here. If everything goes fine I will post a few more in the 60-66 pictures page. Michael |

Re: New from Arizona
Thanks!
If I had to move somewhere I would try to head out to Elk City, OK. The 2000HR Power Tour made a stop there and I fell in love with the town. The people there were incrediable. Also, when we were heading to Little Rock, AR. for the 2008 power tour we stoped for gas in Elk City (I was running on fumes). We had been following a huge storm all day long and it hit them just before we got there. We had been sittng at one gas station for over an hour hoping the power would come back on. Someone told us about a station on the west side of town that had a generator and was pumping gas. We headed out to find it and were having no luck, at this point we thought we would have to sleep in the truck for the night or hope one of the hotels would rent us a room even though the entire town was with out power. Then a young man in his chevy truck ran us down to ask if we were heading to the Power Tour. We told him of our situation and he didn't just give us directions to the gas station he escorted us there. Man the people in OK are great!
