Exhaust Manifold Removal
Anyone had to pull the left(D.side) exhaust manifold out of a S/T-10 Blazer?
The manifold is loose but I can't work it out of the slot. I think they built the truck around it. Not quite sure how you change the plugs on that side. I don't know whether it would be easier to removing steering column, or drop the exhaust and pull the front drive shaft.(4wd)

For anyone that cares. I had to remove the steering input shaft from the steering box to pull out the exhaust manifold. It looks to me that you'd have to remove the shaft to change the spark plugs on that side.
I changed 3 plugs, so now I'll have to look at changing the 3 on the passenger side. Doesn't look like very much fun. Tim

So you have an S/T-10 blazer?
What exactly is that, just a little blazer? Sounds like a pain. Doesn't anyone know of an s-10 site he and other s-10 owners can hit up? It seems like alot of s-10 guys come here and get no responses. There must be a place for these guys! Good luck!

Eddie, yes a S/T 10 BLazer is just an S-10 Blazer. S-series trucks are 2wd, T-series trucks are 4wd. exactly the same relateionship between C/K and R/V trucks.
