Question 72 RH Door Latch Problems

Anyone know of any other threads with the internal views of the door?

My Passenger Side Door Latch doesn't seem to be working. I cannot lock the door with the key, or with the knob on the door. It doesn't work with the door open either.

I pulled off the panels and it doesn't look like the latch is turning at all when you turn the key, or push down the knob.

Not sure if I need a new latch, or just need to grease it up.

Thanks for the help.

Re: 72 RH Door Latch Problems

Mine was the same and I'm able to lock them they where stiff, just took a little more force at the knob.

Thumbs up Re: 72 RH Door Latch Problems

I guess I got ahead of myself, WD-40 worked after all.

I thought I was going to have to pull that latch off.
