Best 73-87 shop manual?

I need a good one, Haynes won't quite cut it. Specifically, the lettering on my fuse panel is mostly gone on my 79, there's only a few left that I can read. So for starters, the manual should have a diagram of fuse panel. Recommendations?

Thanks.

Helm Inc. is the original manual publisher for GM. They still sell fresh old printings of some service and owners manuals.

eBay is usually the way to go but be informed. I'd check the Helm GMC and Chevy "Light Truck" section first to see their pricing on their old stock.
I bought NEW 1974 & 75 wiring manuals for $7 each + shipping from Helm. I've seen them go for $15 each on eBay.
Helm manual "Kits" are pretty reasonable $60-75 (wiring, unit repair, and service) for brand new books. You can get much better deals piecemeal on auctions if you're patient.

The point of my post was the helms reprints are more expensive...
I'm pretty sure that's what I said...

Re: Best 73-87 shop manual?

I found a couple different shop manuals for my truck and cars at swap meets, I know I never spent over $10 for any one that I have, and they are all the factory GM ones.

Two thumbs up for factory. I actually found one at a used books store for $20.
