I started keeping maintenance records back is 1986 when I had the motor rebuilt. It had 163,000 back then. I have changed the oil every 4k-5K and replaced things as they broke. I have gone through a few transmissions, radiators, etc. I used to drive around 12,000 miles/year back then. Nowdays, its only around 1000 per year. I was also going to replace the points and condensor since my records show the last time was 9000 miles ago, back in 2000! But the dwell was spot-on, so I will wait a few more years.

All three of my kids love my truck. My son thought the engine had died at the stop sign because it was idling so smooth.
