what about these headers?
Hey, I'm lookin for a set of shorty headers for a lowered '80 c15 and haven't found much except ones with 1 1/2" primaries. These are goin on a 400sb so 1 1/2 is just too small, want at least 1 5/8". The only ones I've been able to find are the HED-68600 by Hedman. The description says:
"GM: 283-400 1967-81 Camaro/Firebird, 1968-79 Chevy II/Nova, 1964-77 A-body, 1978-87 G-body, 1971-94 full size passenger cars, shorty-style, 1 5/8 in. primary tubes, 3 in. collectors, headers" I know ceramic coated would be great and all but they're twice the cost!! Would high-heat paint hold up good enough? Maybe even a sandblast and high-heat paint or somethin.. Thanks for any input..

dont see why they wouldnt work. Low84 runs a set of Dynomax shorties on his, and i believe they are for the same application.
