NV4500/Divorced Ford 205
I got this stuff hoping to build a crew cab, but looks like that ain't happening. Tranny is a 96 2wd 4500 from a GM truck, has the bellhousing and shifter, and bolt on yoke with the damper. Goes thru the gears fine, have 2 quarts of oil from Quad4x4.com.
T-case is from a 75-ish Ford, 32 spline outputs, tranny and front output have 1310 yokes, and think the rear is a 1330. Don't have a shifter. I had a crossmember made to fit a 73-87 truck. I'd like to trade for a 4wd version of a GM 4500, but not sure what this setup is worth. I'd throw some cash in on the deal if needed. I don't care what tranny I get, as long as the bell and shifter is there, and NOT NEEDING A REBUILD!!!!

If I am not mistaken a trans shop can make that 2wd NV4500 a 4X trans, by switching the output shaft. It would be a lot cheaper in the long run?? Good luck with it, probably make enough off the divorced 205 to do the conversion on the 2wd trans?!

Already checked into that. Making it a 4wd requires a tailhousing $300, output shaft $300, nut/washer kit of some sort, $40, and a damper that goes between 4th and 5th IIRC, and that's $300. So, it would be cheaper just to get a 4wd to start with.
But now thinking I'm just gonna run a 4-speed and a Ford 205 hooked to it. So someone make an offer on this stuff, consider trades too. I could use a set of sneakers for 16" rims, 35-38" range.

When I looked into it, that what it cost. Not doing it that anymore, keeping it a 2wd and running the div. case...
