I didn't get much done either Bob. I did however rotate my tires on Friday.

Re: What did you get done 11/22/2009 edition

I had an awesome weekend! Drove the Heap across the state to visit my brother and sister in law. On the way back I stopped in Charlottesville Va and met fellow board member "Sluggish" (Will) for a burger, fries, coke and some bench racing.

Will and I decided that Charlottesville would be a great central location for a future meet of forum members. Well, members in the Va, NC, MD, W VA, PA region, and of course anyone else that wants to make the trip.

Seriously, we could plan a spring '10 meet, nothing formal, just a casual weekend of fellowship and lots of bench racing.

Re: What did you get done 11/22/2009 edition

I only had one night off this weekend so I stayed on the third shift schedule and showed my '78 some love.

New parts:

Temp sender, which i hope fixes the problem, wiring is good so I'll be hunting a gauge if it dosent

Blower motor and wheel, should have changed this 5 yrs ago.

1 1/16" Swaybar with ECE frame brackets. I've had this for about 5 yrs.

New to it black seatbelts had these for about 5 yrs too.

Also did a oil change and service, but ran out of grease as I did the upper ball joints, so I'll have to finish the rest of that later.

I cleaned up the underside of the engine as it has an oil leak, only when its running that I cant track down. It looks to be maybe a combo of the pass side valve cover and the timing cover. I was gonna drive it today, but the rain put a stop to that.

I cut up an 87 2wd and a 78 4x4 to make room at work for all the snow piles when they hopefully never come.

Spent the day pulling parts in the junkyard, got the gas door and filler neck from a blazer. Also got wiring for my power doors from a suburban.

Nothin, got 2"-3" of snow this morning. Wiped some snow off the cowl area (it was snowing sideways under the carport) and that was all I did to it all weekend. I think winter is here.

Thanks and what Right hand drive parts do you have? I think I am going to use a steering box from an 88-98 since they bolt to the inside of the frame.
