I moved from Houston three years ago. Both are worth going to.The sat night street meet is another good source of auto enthusiast's. Many of them have "extra" projects or parts they want to sell.

swap meets

There are 2 different groups that put on the delmars. The Street Machines club did the one a couple weeks ago. They do 2 a year and we do 2 more delmars a year. Me and a friend took over the Early Irons of Texas Delmar swap meets about 3 years ago.Which is the original delmar swap meet. We are still making improvements and working to make everyone happy with it. We offer free parts pickup and deliver food and drinks down the isles. WE have improved the food and added lots of port a cans. We are the same group that started the North Houston Swap Meet. The people at delmar would not let us do but 2 a year there. We do 2 at delmar and 2 at north houston a year. Our next Delmar is April 27th and North Houston is May 18th. The others are Sept. 14th and October 5th. Go to www.delmarswapmeet.com and www.northhoustonswapmeet.com
These swap meets have hurt my truck and truck parts business. But i do not do it for a living anymore, just part time. I hope this has helped you and hope to see yall there. I am Steve and i am usually the one on the red moped parking cars and running around all day. Thanks Steve 409 722-6929 if any questions.
