two questions
I have two questions. I just acquired my '65 lwb C10 so im still trying to gather information.
1. What size bolts are needed to mount the stock V8 engine mounts to the frame? 2. How hard is it to install a rebel wiring harness. I ask because I just received mine in the mail and have never done wiring before. thanks |

thanks[/QUOTE] You tell me! Im still trying to figure this out and ive had it for a month...Im having the most trouble getting the taillights/brakelights to work properly off of the column wires. Everything else was relatively simple if you follow the instructions. Ive also never wired anything before im my life. It will come in handy to have the stock wiring diagram aswell as the old harness to look back on. Jory Last edited by Roadhammer; 11-27-2009 at 12:14 PM. |

Re: two questions
Roadhammer I had the same problem with my Painless kit and never got it to work. But when I took my bed off the frame I figured out i didn't have it grounded right. so check that.
The harnesses are really easy to install, as long as you can read where they go it's really easy. One thing I will tell you if haven't already. Upgrade your Alt to an internal regulator instead of the stock external one, makes for a cleaner install.

Re: two questions
I got it figured last night...still dont fully understand it...but after almost completely pulling the wiring inthe dash...i tried starting it up....everything worked. Im guess i had low power and or the alternature somehow supplies brakelights in off of the fuse panel...dont understand it...but i now works.
