You can but you really should have it go to ign. fused, or install a inline fuse to be safe. Also use a volt meter and make sure you have 12 volts at the panel or the choke won't work properly. If the carb is new try the factory setting first.

Re: Where do I wire electric choke up to in the fusebox?
Well...Im not really sure but I'll look...Anybody know any spots on the fusebox I can wire this to?
Ive got it wired with no fuse, and the choke doesnt open close, but its also 55* outside. Is this correct? And what should my choke be set at?

Re: Where do I wire electric choke up to in the fusebox?
I wired mine to a fused terminal that is only powered when the ignition is on with a full 12 volts, that is what the Edelbrock manual said to do

Re: Where do I wire electric choke up to in the fusebox?
If you don't have AC you can put it on the spade that is on the bottom left side of the fuse panel. This spade is fused and hot when the key is on. As for adjusting take the breather off make sure the engine is cold and turn the choke until the butterfly just barely closes. Turn the key on and the butterfly should open after a few seconds

Re: Where do I wire electric choke up to in the fusebox?
The one that says CIG Is the one I was refering to. You should check it to see if its hot with the key on and not hot with the key off.

Re: Where do I wire electric choke up to in the fusebox?
Any off them will work if they are hot with the key on. Check to see if your lighter works with the key off If not you can splice into that wire
