72 Jimmy gear ratio
Are 4.10 gears common or uncommon in 4WD blazers and Jimmys?
I thought my Jimmy was sceaming on the highway. |

Somewhat common,but optional-only.Tell us more like tire size how fast you were going,and/or what rpm if you have a tach.

I am running 31 inch tires and do have a Tach dash. Going about 65 (most likely faster because of the bigger tires) and I swear it was reading about 32-3300 RPM. I know our Tachs are not the most acurate but I always assumed I had 3.73s. I did the spin the driveshaft just over 4 turns for 1 tire revolution so I assume 4.10s. I did the front axle also with the same results.
I need the info for a PCM tune for a future project (soon). |

i spun my driveshaft 2 full turns for one tire rotation with a 38" tire and pulled to cover to make sure but it had 4.56s
