Power steering pump and brackets
Hello,
I have a 72 c10 w/350. Want to install p/steering to her. Have a box and pump. Going to the local boneyard Sunday. Question: Does anyone have any pictures of the pump brackets I'm suppose to have.. installed? Also, The # on the side of the p/s box is 7802644. My bud said that it will work. Just want to make sure. Thanks for any advice.. Mark

Re: Power steering pump and brackets
There is a pump with the right brackets on ebay (not mine) which will show you the bracket. It is a two piece that cradles the pump. Two bolts on the front of the block and one on the front motor mount. Don't forget the crank pulleys. Item number is 320449659392

Re: Power steering pump and brackets
Here's some pictures of mine and of one I powdercoated for Scoti. Be sure and get the extra add-on crank pulley from the junkyard too.
Disregard the alternator brackets in these pictures.

Re: Power steering pump and brackets
Do you know the Part #'s for the crank pulleys? I am trying to figure out what I need for my 67 283 non a/c. I am adding power steering and my pump and bracket look the same as yours and goes in that location.

Re: Power steering pump and brackets
I think that pulley is readily available from several of the Chevy truck and car trinket shops.
Here: http://www.google.com/search?source=...&aq=f&oq=&aqi= It looks like the same pulley fits cars and trucks so a used one might be easy to find. |

Re: Power steering pump and brackets
I don't have the numbers, but you might PM Scoti and see if he will read the numbers off the pulleys for you.
