Will this tranny fit?
I have a 67 C10 1/2 ton with a 250 L6 and a three speed GM transmission with the numbers 3880210 on the drivers side. This was a column shift converted to a floor shift with a cheap shifter before I bought it. I am looking to replace it with a GM5 3901131 serial numbers on the top and serial number 8901127 in the side. I don't know much about transmissions, and am wondering if it will fit or should I keep looking for the stock levers that go on the side of the three speed and convert it back to a column shift?

Re: Will this tranny fit?
Welcome to the 67-72 Chevy Truck Board from West Michigan!
You will want to recheck the number on the case since the first number on the case is probably a "3" instead of an "8". If it is a "3" then the transmission is a Muncie 465 and it will fit. Jim
