sliding rear bumper?
I have a 72 C/20 BB custom camper that has a sliding rear bumper on it? is that the standard bumper that it came with or something that was added at a later time?

Re: sliding rear bumper?
I had a neighbor back in the 70's that installed one on a '77 3/4 ton Scottsdale. From what I understand, that is an aftermarket thing. Great innovation, though!

Re: sliding rear bumper?
My best guess would be that it's not stock, but do you have any pics?

Re: sliding rear bumper?
I've seen them years ago.Mostly used on camper haulers.I would guess they were aftermarket. There were a lot more cab-over style campers back then than there are now.

Re: sliding rear bumper?
it was avalible through GM, but I am not aware of it ever being a factory installed item, only dealer installed and as said above, aftermarket too.
