Finally got my Buddy Buckets done!

Well, I figured it was time to get em done. That old vinyl was really starting to crack on these cold mornings, and I didn't want to look at them all beat up anymore with so many folks on here getting theirs all prettied up.

Before:

After:

My highly skilled seat tester Norah, they had to meet her approval!

I think she likes them.

Re: Finally got my Buddy Buckets done!

Thanks. Kiddo really did like the bright color.

I had a guy in Laramie, WY do them for me, he got all the material. I've known him for almost 20 years and he's done few jobs for me and my folks. His name is Mike, the shop is MCB Upholstery. He does good work at a good price.

Now I have to get the rest of my interior stuff in black to match.

Oh, and paint/bodywork... Someday

She loves to sit and play with the steering wheel already. I'll be in trouble after a few years.

My initial quote was $500, with no major foam work.
After Mike had to cut out and replace 2" of foam and I added cup holders to the center armrest it came to $590.

Re: Finally got my Buddy Buckets done!

I've got a pic of the cup holders, but it's not uploaded yet. It's pretty much the same as what Hart Rod did on his. Post #5

The seat belts are from buckle-up.net. I need to get some black ones to match now. I'll probably get them from the same place and sell the gray ones on here.

Re: Finally got my Buddy Buckets done!

Thanks for the comments everyone. I'm probably going to have Mike do my door panels too. He quoted $100 for the pair in black vinly w/pleats. I figure houndstooth on the doors would be a little over the top.
