brake issue

so i had firestone check my pads just cause they would for free....and im driving down the road and my pedal starts going to the floor. They didnt clip the mastercyl. cover back on. Brake fluid everywhere!.....so i run over at lunch to Napa and pick up a new cover and top the brake fluid but my pedal is still spongy and brakes arent really there....should i drive it around the lot and pump the brakes for a while? i did one loop but still are bad.

Re: brake issue

I would call firestone and tell them the story and DEMAND that they come and tow the vehicle back to their shop and then completely bleed the brake system AND detail the engine compartment on their dime before you file a complaint with the better business bureau and whomever else regulates that sort of thing in your area
but then again that is me

Re: brake issue

That brake fluid will eat the paint right up. Get it back to Firestone and let them fix their problem. They will definitely need to bleed the brake system and hose down the engine compartment.
