Weighed my truck
I hauled a load of scrap metal down to the local recycler yesterday, and they put my truck on the scale. With me in it, and a bone dry tank of gas it weighed 4180 lbs. So, it should way about 3980 without me. The truck is a '72 C10, lwb, 350 engine with an allumium intake, 350 tranny, coil springs, PS and PB. The weight is about 200lbs heavier then my Resto-Pack says, which i think is because of the step bumper that is on the back of the truck. The thing has to way 200 lbs, it is made of 1/2" metal. Since i never tow with it, i may remove the bumper and get a stock-like bumper if i can afford it.
