Is this the elusive 68-70' Cruise Control Lever???

Guys, just by chance, there was this turn signal lever in a swb 4x4 '70 we bought today. Is this the correct cruise control lever switch for 68-70'? I think it is because it used to be all chrome and didn't have the ribs or traces of ever saying cruise on it. Thanks for any help ahead of the time. Trevor

Yeah, the truck isn't pretty sheetmetal wise, but the drivetrain and frame were in really nice shape, and I couldn't pass it up for the money. The cruise switch was just a bonus, as the truck had a column swapped in many years ago. Trevor

If and when you take that column apart, could you post up pics of the rest of the stalk. I've seen buttons like that before, and I think you could make something very similiar...great score!

It does look like the one I saw in a wrecking yard (I mean auto recycling) in the 1980's if my memory serves me right. I was honest and told the owner what it was (he was going to sell me the column for $25) The price went to $100. Good score.
