5 Lug Conversion question
ok i dont have a question about the fron its the back i have a six lug i want to convert to 5 lug can i just buy the axles or do i have to find a donor rear end where do you guys get the axles?

i took my axles out of a mid 70's they worked great just check the lengths cause some are about half inch longer i believe not hundred percent sure though

IMO, it would be easier and cheaper just to get a complete 5 lug axle from a wrecking yard, 71-72 axles are getting harder to find, but you can go with a 73-87 and just weld on the trailing arm mounts (perches) to it.

CPP sells axles. The kit you buy depends on the year rearend you have.
