Gutting the dash on an '83 diesel K5
As the thread says, I'm gutting the interior and, on the dash, I'm taking it down to the firewall.
I'm going to attach brackets for various items and install a gun safe and a rifle/shotgun mount, put in a sheet metal plate for switches for the different accessories, lights, et al. It's a bug-out vehicle guys. Not a crawler, just a rig that can handle trails but still be a street-legal. Anyone seen anything like this? Got any advice, thoughts, pics, links? Thanks- Dave. |
