I might have a chance to get a Lincoln Hp 125 wire feed wlder for 500 Canadian. It comes with gas bottle and the thingy for measuring the gas. Is this a good welder for sheetmetal work? And is it a good price. I know it hasn't been used much.

Hmmmm...might be a deal. Check at Canadian Tire, its the same one they carry for about the same price but minus the bottle and regulator. This particular Lincoln is "Hecho en Mexico" and if you need it serviced you are on your own, aside from dealing directly with the Lincoln people. If you are buying it used in a private sale I would suggest firing it up and making sure it works. If you aren't a welder then bring along a friend or acquaintance who is familiar with how a wire feed welder should work.

But otherwise it should be the right size for welding 18 ga. sheet metal and should also plug right into your 110v. circuit at home.

It is an easy welder to use.I think you can weld up to quater inch in one pass.

That's the same welder I have. It's great!! I do all of my body work with it (and that's alot less than I paid for mine)
