Please identify this suspension component
Just had my front spring re-arched and added a leaf to the front suspension. (Original 3 leaf system was a little soft after 37 years with a heavy duty bumper and winch!)
Was looking to see what my $417.00 bought me and noticed a metal plate up against the front driver side leaf, but not the passenger (although the holes in the frame are there but it's missing) What is this piece up against the front leaf spring eyelet? |

That is a spring stop. It is only on one side and only on 4x4's. LockDoc
