Automatic Transmission Help
Hello to all.
I got a 72 chevy c10 that came with no motor or trasnmission. I need help identifying what parts I will need to connect the shifter from the steering wheel down to the transmission. So far I found the auto trans linkage bracket for a 2wd and bought from brothers. I see on the frame is another piece already mounted. What am I missing in between and what is the name of it? I got a 350 transmission. Can anyone help and maybe have a picture of the items? Thank you and God bless Lewis Last edited by cobra1966; 12-21-2009 at 01:57 PM. |

Re: Automatic Transmission Help
Here is a picture that was posted by another member showing the linkage components between the frame and the transmission.

Re: Automatic Transmission Help
You can also buy a billet kit from a vendor like CCP that does not have a frame mount. It uses heim joints to work through the angles. Cost is about $40. I just installed one on a 200 4R and it seems to work well.

Re: Automatic Transmission Help
Maybe I should have typed CPP. I paid $32 plus $8 shipping from CPP on ebay. Sorry for the typo.
