divorced transfer case

Any one have any experence with running a divorced t-case ? Thinking about putting one in my 86 crew cab. Any pros or cons?

I'm gonna be running one in my crew. I had one in my old 89, Worked like a normal t-case, just need to make sure the stubshaft between the t-case and tranny are inline, get some good vibes if they are off. I had the same shafts front and rear. Did it that way incase one broke, could swap one out for the other.
