Thanks Nuke.
To this date I'm into this truck about $3,500 including the truck, not to mention the hundreds of hours of work (I should say fun). I haven't done much to the truck lately, but taken a few drives. I took my wife for a drive yesterday. I think she just enjoys spending time with me, but while I was in the process of building the truck she wasn't too happy about the time I was out in the garage. She understands that I need my projects and for that I am truly lucky, but she too questions my sanity.

Re: 1971 Cheyenne "One For the Road"

This weekend I finally mounted the kick panels I made. I also realized that I haven't shown the interior since I installed the carpet. The carpet is for a 88-98 extra-cab Chevy so the fit is not the best. Because the carpet was so long I had enough to wrap up the back of the cab. The sun visors, headliner, rear view mirror, were painted with black Rust-oleum fabric & vinyl spray paint. The headliner trim is Dupli-color chrome, more like bright silver. I still need a new steering wheel, door steels, window seals, a/c balls, stereo, and find a new seat.
