Body mount questions???
I need a new body mount kit for my swb 4x4. I was looking at lmc for all the hardware or just the hole kit, but I was wondering if there is a better kit out there, like a polyurethane kit? Any info and suggestions are greatly appreciated

Re: Body mount questions???
it doesnt seem like they have all the hardware for the 67-72's they only have the cab bushing kit which doesnt look like it has all the right hardware, and they dont have the rad support bushings...

Re: Body mount questions???
there is a all included kit in there i promise
you gotta look for it.. and if you wanna save a few dollars take your old rad mount bolts down to fastenall, and one of your body mount bolts you can match them there, you probably wont have to replace the washers.. just give them a good scrubbing this can potientially save you 60 bucks..

Re: Body mount questions???
I was looking I swear lol
this is all they have for 67-72http://www.classicindustries.com/con...ultsPerPage=50 out of those, only two are for 4x4http://www.classicindustries.com/truck/34107R.html one is red the other is black . They have a all in one for the 2wd but not for the 4x4. Also it doesnt look right to me for some reason it does have the part Ive pointed out on the lmc pic

Re: Body mount questions???
dammit....
i "overlooked" the 37-72 aspect, ummmmm check the site http://www.classicheartbeat.com/ now dont quote me on this, but i do believe that t shaped part will be the metal inwhich the rubber mount is vulcanized to.. they had the same "style" of weirdo shapes for my tranny mounts and i was all freaking out because they diddnt come with the mount.. but in fact it was covered by the rubber vulcanized to it... id still avoid LMC the majority of their stuff is wayy to marked up...

Re: Body mount questions???
no its just a like a washer and spacer but one piece and the body mount slides over it, I could get one made, my friend has a 3'' body lift on his and had to get his made if I remember correct. Idk if Ill need that but chances are the one in the truck right now is pretty rusty...
I ran outside and found one in a parts bin I had from my old 4x4 attached a pic, I have one so if the truck Im working on now has one at least, I could order that kit then order the rad from lmc sorry for the blurry Image its freakin cold out in the shop right now

Re: Body mount questions???
I have this same style on the rear cab mounts my 80 K20. Eerything I've read says these shouldn't fit, but thats what is on there and they look like OEM parts. From what I understand rubber offers a much better ride then poly.

Re: Body mount questions???
I ordered mine from here http://www.classicparts.com/ for my 68 SWB 4X4. Ordered cab and rad kit. The cab kit worked perfect (everything included). The rad kit looks complete but I cannot comment on it because I did not install it yet.
