PCC shop truck on craigslist
Air bagged C10 project - $6000 (napa county)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: 2009-12-31, 9:18AM PST Reply to: sale-mke2n-1531855123@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm sad to say it, but with too many projects going on I have no time for this truck any longer. I'm just trying to get out of it what I have in it in parts. What's included is the truck, it's in the exact condition as seen in the photos. The truck is registered as a 1967 and is currently registered as non-operational in the state of california. What's done: Truck is an original shortbed fleetside truck. Many hours of chassis work done. Frame rails are stock and all holes have been welded smooth and boxed All body mount rivets have been ground out and mounts TIG welded on Chrome Triangulated rear 4-link with Slam Specialties RE7 bags Front crossmember raised 3.5 inches Front crossmember moved foreward 1.5 inches and fully welded in ART Strong arms in front with Slam Specialties RE7 bags Belltech dropped spindles Shock hoops and frame strengthening pieces begun fabrication in front Tubular Rack and Pinion mount fabricated Seat is re-upholstered in two-tone grey faux leather Dash is half fabricated (wouldn't be too difficult to finish) Passenger side firewall smoothed Rebuilt tilt steering column One-piece side windows installed Power windows Lays out on very tall 20 inch tire. Solid centerline smoothies What needs to be done: Engine and transmission mounts need to be fabricated Rack and Pinion placement needs to be fixed to avoid bump-steer Shock mounts need to be fabricated and/or added All plumbing needs to be done Front bed mounts need to be fabricated Rear wheel tubs/bed floor would need to be fabricated and/or modified original Hood hinges need to be fabricated What parts are included: Everything seen in photos New Painless Wiring harness to bolt into truck (3) Viair Chrom 380 compressors (2) polished 5 gallon stainless air tanks Shortbed fleetside bed in good condition (no floor, had a wood floor no longer existent) All pieces taken off of truck (it was a running driving truck) Small block chevy engine (I don't know anything about it, it smoked when starting it up but ran good) 4-barrel intake and holley carb Rebuilt turbo 350 transmission (I had it rebuilt when we tore the truck apart) '50 Ford gauge cluster to fit in opening in dash with minor fabrication Front end/hood pieces Radiator, etc. Very good price for a body dropped, air bagged C10 that you would be able to fit 24's on with little modification left. Truck was featured in the August issue of street trucks magazine. More photos on our website, www.pacificcoastcustoms.com Asking 6000.00 Truck is in pieces, so people looking to pick it all up only, not interested in shipping. It would be a great project for someone to start on in 2010. Could be finished rather quickly with enough time and energy. |
