what do i need?

im looking to get my truck ready for a 700r4 i need to know what i need my truck had a 350 turbo, need to know everything such as, can i use my cross-member or do i need new one. next question is shifter linkage im running ididit column with column shift if someone is running this set up and would like to share there set up that would be great thanks.

do a title search for 700R4 and you will find lots of useful info.

-you can move your crossmember back and redrill
-need a longer speedo cable, available at any parts store ask for 4wd of same year
-shift linkage can be adjusted or an aftermarket, I used a CPP universal
-cooler lines can be reused
-driveshaft may have to be cut depending on short or long tail TH350
-700r4 dipstick (88-up chevy/gmc truck work great).
-TV cable, universal are the best in my opinion because you can adjust the sheath and cable or go 88-up again. (research this)
-trans pressure test gauge
-speedo gears
-lock-up wiring (research this)
that's everything I used.
