Need opinions please

I'm thinking of losing my roll pan and going back to a chrome bumper. Any suggestions from you guys. I would like to know what everybody thinks. Also, if anybody has a chrome step bumper and would like to have a roll pan I would certainly be interested in trading; chrome bumper in good shape for roll pan and hide-a-hitch.

I'm with Old rusty c10, I like big chrome bumpers. I don't think mine is original though, because it says "ADE IN TAIWAN".

I agree. With my truck a chrome bumper would look much better. If you have a truck like LOHRTBT, Low87, Swervin then a roll pan would look better. But a good compromise is a blazer bumper.

I'm with Brandon, those Blazer bumpers look good! Had I not chosen to mould in a roll pan I'd have gone with a Blazer bumper. To answer your question, go with what you want! I've done, redone, and changed back so many things on my truck it's insane.

What makes a blazer bumper different than a truck bumper? Is it thinner or something?

I guess I should keep my opinions to myself because I'd recommend a Ranch Hand bumper or a stainless 10" or 12" drop bumper. Oops, is my red neck showing?
Actually, the Blazer bumpers look like a good compromise between the roll pan and stock type bumper.

I'm gonna keep it and buy a bumper so if I don;t like the bumper I can put the roll pan back on.

I'm in the same boat as you. I want a large drop down bumper. I'd rather have a large bumper back there in case my truck got hit from the rear in an accident. It would slow it up and keep it from hitting too much more.

I have a roll and been rearend twice!! The roll pan has survived. Can't say that for the Dodge Rams trucks. They are perfect height that they hit the bed rail! OUCH!! Only problem I loose my $300 tailgate every time. Getting anotherone built is not cheap.
Get a bumper that wraps around and cut a hole for a hidden hitch!!
