Fresh Meat from SC

Hi folks. I am new here but not to GM trucks. I am currently truck poor with 3 and going to pick up 1 more in Jan. I have a 48 GMC 100 with a hot 302 six and 5 speed, a 48 suburban that is in cold storage and 1000 pieces, and a 93 S10 daily driver. I am going to pick up an 87 GMC crew cab short bed, that will be my new daily. Me and my Dad run a full service street rod shop and a truck parts manufacturing business. I look forward to learning and laughing here. Jay

Re: Fresh Meat from SC

Hello I'm new here too. Motivated by need for help. I've got a 69 chevy c10 that I'm considering getten going on. Though right now I need some help getting in touch with the folks that can talk to me about a 1967 Chevrolet c50. I'm working on the brakes on the rear axle. Looking for some leads on wheel cylinders while I wait for result of diggin around locally for some. Wouldn't mind knowing about some 5x15 brake shoes and spring kits and ajusters would be handy too.
I've got it up on jacket stands with everything exposed. Hope to have some news on the local inquiry this weekend. If I can accomplish the brakes I'll consider some new front fenders and so on. So if anyone can point me in the right direction I would be thankful for the help. bushy

Up date: Received some good news. Wheel cylinder can be obtained through NAPA for C50. I will save the details until I find the thread that was talking about:[B] "big" truck forum c/40,c/50,c/60and the likes. Then I need to get with the 69 c10 group.
