Re: Blazer bed sides and floor for patches

Sik, $40 sounds fair, go ahead and get me some measurements on how long and tall and I will guess how heavy it is, and get a ballpark of price of shipping. I will get a measurment tomorrow of what length I need in front and behind the wheel well to cover all my pin holes. I know the rear looks pretty good, but I have a bunch of pin holes around the front of the wheel well on my bed. I am definitely wanting this, but I need to double check my measurments to allow some room for error. Like I said, I will only need the driver's side as my passenger side arch is good. Trevor

I will cut it with a plasma cutter at a low heat. The cut will be nice and straight.

Re: Blazer bed sides and floor for patches

Sik, I think I will pass on the piece discussed, after seeing how much rust holes I have in this bedside, I better try and find another bedside entirely. Sorry for the delay in a answer, I really didn't mean to make you jump through hoops to get back with me. Go ahead and cut the pieces for the other poster's suburban. I would practically need a length of 57" and a height of 24". That's about dang near a new bedside, and shipping would kill the deal. Trevor

Re: Blazer bed sides and floor for patches

ok, how much for a patch from the inner side of the driver's side, from the B-piller to the wheel well, from where it attaches to the bed up about 6-8 inches? Also maybe a patch at the same level as the fuel filler hole so I can patch mine. Also, if you happen to have the bed floor, and the area around the wheel well is good, I need a patch there about 4 inches around the whole wheel well, on both passenger and driver's side.

I got the inner side of the drivers side from the B pillar

Can you get me a picture of the area that you speak of the fuel filler area and exactly what you are wanting of the bed floor. I kind of understand what you are asking for but want to make sure I cut exactly what you want instead of sending you the wrong pieces.

Thanks

Re: Blazer bed sides and floor for patches

For the fuel filler, I am just looking for a piece at the same level of the body, big enough to cover the fuel filler location. I got a 31 gallon tank from a 90, so I need to relocate my filler to the opposite side and could use a patch to cover the original.

And this is the best picture I have of my blazer showing what I am trying to replace. You can see around the wheel well there where the PO patched it up with flat steel. I would like to replace this, around both wheel wells. There are patches around all sides of the wheel well, so those would be helpful. I believe I may need some where the wheel well mounts to the bed side too, but I haven't been in the truck in a while to check.

Thanks again.

Yes, I can get you that piece for the fuel fill patch.

The bed floor, I have both Driver and passenger sides half way of the wheel tubs to the back and from the middle forward I only have the drivers side.

If you want to feel free to call me and I can explain exactly what I have and how it can work for your blazer 228-324-7671.

Re: Blazer bed sides and floor for patches

yes, I still am. Just was busy last night and got too late to call. will try and call you tonight.

Sounds like those pieces will work for me. I believe the one you don't have is the one that is the best on mine.
