How much would you pay??

How much would you pay for this:

71 Chevy 3/4 ton 2WD
Rebuilt 350(.030 over) and TH350 tranny
No dents or rust anywhere on the body(has a rusty frame)
NEW Toyo M55 tires(285/75) on Mickey Thompson Classic II rims(16")
Custom in bed 22gal fuel tank
Non A/C
The guy has dyno sheets for it that read 473RWHP and 524RWTQ. It looks solid. He is in no rush to sell it, but said he is open to offers.

What would you pay for it???

I got to see a quick shot under the hood and it was NA, BUT I did see a plate under the carb that had braded lines going to the fire wall. I could have been mistaken on where they were hooked up to the motor, but I'm pretty positive it has NOS. My cousin offerd $3,500 cash and the guy said no. I'm not sure about the whole thing, but I got to see it and hear the details. Guess it could just be one heck of a sleeper!

Haha I was wondering if some people would ask of its location. Its in the North Eastern part of Oregon. Whats your take on it? Seems like it's a to good to be true type thing.

Shoot thanks for pointing that out. Have no clue what I was thinking.

As for the frame rusting before the body, I have no clue. I did not talk to the guy. I might soon though. Maybe.

Not to kill a thread, but isn't this basically a "What's it worth" thread? If so you have to be a site supporter for that as well...

Re: How much would you pay??

It is kinda a WIW thread, but he is interested in buying it. He is not asking so that he can sell it. The is more like a help thread. And I've seen many a moderator approve this.

WIW threads are ok if you are looking at buying one. But not if you are trying to get the info. to sell one. By doing so, you will essentially be posting a for sale ad and will have people PMing you with offers, which it has turned into a for sale thread, which you have to be a site supporter for. Hope that is understandable.
