Got my transfer case back from the powder coater

Now it needs to be reassembled so I can move forwrd with my 5.3 LS install. When I get everything back I will start a build thread and detail everything with pictures and links. I know everyone loves pictures so here are a few.........

The shop doing the reassembly is Metal Innovations in Pembroke Mass. Some of you may remeber he has done some work to my Jimmy in the past. I have been doing a bunch of electrical work for him and we are swapping labor. Here are some pictures of a few of his projects going on now.

With the transfer case looking like that I can't wait to see the rest of the truck.

Good luck with your build.

It "may" be the nicest part

I am just trying to build a functional, dependable, economical vehicle that I wouldn't hesitate to drive anywhere. I have run into numerous set backs and my budget is double what I had set aside.

I wish I could powder coat the frame also but right now I just can't. Crossmembers and brackets are all powdercoated. Frame is just POR15. I "may" do some detail paint on the engine but I am running out of time I have the garage for.

If I could do what I wanted and had the space it probably wouldn't be done for years.

I dont think anyone here has "stayed" anywhere near their budget on their trucks, I know I didnt. You see this and that, and say ya know I should just go ahead and take care of it, the next thing you know your budget is 2X or 3X what you set aside

That makes two of us. I have a 6.0 and a 4l80e that I plan on replacing the 350 and Muncie in my 72 Blazer, and really appreciate all that you have put on this site.
