lucky score
I wanted some old school 15x8 alloys so i came across this bunch of stuff for $500 so i had to buy the lot to get the wheels, they were pulled from a 55 56 truck then thought i would sell front axle and diff to recoup some $$$.Well this is where it gets good i decided to take backing plate off and the diff turns out to be a posi traction with 3.7 gears

Re: lucky score
Great score!
They look to be 15 x 8-1/2 US Indy Slots. Very Nice, I have a set on the back of my '65. FYI: You will need to narrow the rear axle to get those to fit under a stock width 60-66 truck bed. If you have a Step Side you could widen the bed at least 4 inches, that's what I did. Last edited by lakeroadster; 01-24-2010 at 08:58 AM. |
