Re: alarm systems
I install directed systems which are viper, python, hornet, etc. people will tell you they are all the same. for the most part they are. but i have found that i have had less problems from the viper kits. mostly due to the remotes. I usually install one way systems in my personal vehicles. I dont care for the features of the two ways. all I want is lock/unlock,remote start, security.

"My best system? Good insurance, hide the valuables, and leave it unlocked. That way they won't have to jack anything up to get inside when they take it! "
i have done this since ive had a truck even before i wrecked my 03 silvarado i left the windows down doors unlocked and my stuff hidden or not sometimes it just depends i wont even lock my 80 when im in the bad part of town for two readons one my drivers door dont always like to unlock and 2 who wants to steal and old mulit colored truck ? thats how my buddy does with el comino and its pretty nice for the red headed step child of chevy trucks he gos as far as to leave the two sets of keys in it usualy on the roof or ignition Last edited by kris's66lwb; 02-03-2010 at 12:44 AM. |

Re: alarm systems
All gps have a antenna somewhere brass mesh over any antenna will block any from being sent out or picked up.
