'55-'57 stuff...
I've got some stuff I'm not going to use.
1. Original Factory painted headlight bezels. This is a pair of left and right bezels. These fit '55-'57. They're in good shape besides the 55 year old paint that's chipped in some places. $30 plus shipping. 2. Original factory headlight bezels that have been repainted black. This is a pair of left and right bezels. These are in good shape and have a fresh repaint. $30 plus shipping. 3. Factory headlight bucket. This will fit '55-'57. This is only one headlight bucket and includes the plug/harness for the headlight. It is complete with bucket and housing. All the adjustment screws are there and unbroken. $30 plus shipping. 4. Driver side front fender. This is for '55-'56. It is in good shape with surface rust only everywhere except the lower tip that has the typical rust hole. Definately repairable with a patch panel. The eyebrows are in good shape. No dents, no dings, no holes or rot except the lower tip. See the photos below. $100 plus shipping. ***SOLD*** 5. Driver side inner fender. This is for '55-'57. It is in good shape with surface rust only. No holes, no rot. $40 plus shipping. 6. Driver side lower fender patch panel. This is a new patch panel for the driver side lower fender tip. Still in the black primer. $25 plus shipping. ***SOLD*** All prices are plus shipping. Shipping for the fender and inner fender will be expensive. Smaller stuff will be around $15 for Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation and Insurance depending on your zip. Payment must be a USPS Money Order or discreet cash. I'll ship within 48 hours of receiving payment and send the tracking info. Please let me know if you have any questions, I'll get back to you quickly. Thanks for looking and thanks for this great forum. Factory painted headlight bezels... Factory headlight bezels repainted black... Headlight bucket... Fender... Eyebrow above headlight...

Bump. Nobody's got any money, trade me for stuff. I'm looking for 235 speed/dress up equipment, metalflake steering wheel, cool old chevy steering wheel, cool shift knob or brodie knob, something shiny for my '55, whatever. Try me out.

My local chevy truck place, Dixie Truckworks, got a couple of doors in today. I don't know which side they're for and they have repairable rust in the bottoms. I think he said he wanted $120 each. Dixie Truckworks is in Mt. Pleasant, NC. Shipping would probably be cost prohibitive. I go there once a week or so for little stuff. I can get you some pics next time I go if you like. Here's the link to their site... http://www.dixietruckworks.com/ They're only open from 1:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. if you call. The guy that runs it is Wayne and he's been in business for more than 20 years and is a super awesome guy and very knowledgeable about ALL the chevy trucks. 1. I'm looking for a '56-'59 working temp gauge and sender that goes in the block. They are different than the '55 ('55 is mechanical, the rest are electrical) and will work better with my new wiring harness. 2. Also, a good piece of door glass and a good piece of vent window glass. 3. Also, driver side good chrome vent window frame. 4. Factory chrome front bumper for a decent price. 5. Good rust free windshield wiper cowl outside cowl panel. I think that's all for now. I'm sure there'll be more once I get deeper into it. Thanks for looking out. If you decide to drive up this way to get the door, let me know. I'll meet you if you can bring something big and hard to ship like the bumper or door glass. Or holler at me anyway, always good to meet other truck nuts.

Re: '55-'57 stuff...
Terd...(is it Ted?)
Anyway I talked with Wayne at Dixie and he doesn't have a left door right now. He did take my name and said he would call if he gets one in. As for what you need I don't have anything right now either, but will let you know if I can get you anything in the future. I have a newer model engine (327-1965 era) and 4spd trans that came with it. Everything else is org. I'll let you know when I'll be up that way sometime and we could meet. Erik |

It's Kevin, lol. I just went by Dixie today and Wayne said you called. Sorry he didn't have a driver's door for you. He said he had three passenger doors. Good luck finding one and I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Re: '55-'57 stuff...
Glad you found one. I've still got this stuff getting in my way if anybody needs it.
For trades, I'm looking for decent chrome door glass frames and a piece of door glass, also a chrome vent window frame and apiece of vent glass, lower door patch panels (inside and out), factory chrome front bumper, a good complete factory heater, and a drop axle and front and back drop leaf springs. I've got cash on my end or you can add cash on your end depending on what you've got to trade.

I've got an aftermarket one. It's not chrome and it's dirty but it works fine.
