Interesting Truck

I was surfing the web and found this 1959 Chevy pick I just had to share. It was listed as "Full Custom" Best of all he's only asking $13,500

I bought one that someone atempted to make a roadster out of but it was so badly done that I ended up parting it out.

This is the only pick up roadster I ever really liked. It's the one built be Scott's Hotrods.

It was flat black just after the build, but once it hit the show circut it was painted red.

Re: Interesting Truck

Okay here's another interesting truck I ran across. It's listed as a 53 Chevy PU Rat Rod. "ASKING 7500.00 SERIOUS BUYERS" I wonder if the brick parking brake is included?

I'm not a big fan of this truck. True, it is a work of art and they are very talented, but I don't care for the hood, grill, headlight combination...

My $.02

Re: Interesting Truck

They actually had the build on of the Red Scotts Hotrod truck on one of the cable TV shows. I forgot the name of the show, but one of them TLC, or Speed channel shows. They do great work and it is a work of art, just not my cup of tea, but I do appreciate the talent that goes into something like that. Its a metal masterpiece.

I think it was Rides. I saw it too.

Didn't care much for the finished truck, but always enjoy watching craftsmen do that kind of work. I can learn a little more how to do things at the same time I'm learning what not to do.

This is the reason I go to car shows. I go to find out what I like and what I don't like.
