Here's how you take a box off by yourself

When you don't have 4 friends around to help lift off a box, it's the old jack and block, jack and block method. (then drive truck out from under)

The one regret is my truck has 31" tires on it! DOH. Thought of leaving the air out to help clear that front 4X4 but went with the "dig a hole in front of tires technique".

Whatever works!

Now, I can replace those nasty cab corners with ease! :p

Hey, whatever works...look at it long enough, think about it long enough and something will come to mind! I hoisted mine off with a chain hoist in the barn. Lifted a cab off with the same method and then moved them around with the neighbor's tractor. I have been thinking about a nice all-terrain cart with rubber tires to move them around on...it would be nice! Keep up the good work..."If the women don't find you handsome they'll certainly find you handy! Remember we're all pulling for ya!" Red Green

Hey Stllookn you're a Red Green fan. Now an Engineer that's a fan of the worlds biggest duct tape fanatic scares me.
A cherry picker type engine hoist can be adapted for cabs and beds quite nicely as well. Improvisation (and maybe some duct tape ) are probably the best tools for this kind of job of any!

I bet it was looking at my box that reminded him of "Red Green". LOL

Man, I hate red primer! Probably how I got this truck for $50.00 dollars though.
