2 panels next door to where I work

What are the chances ? Not sure of the years but they look near same to my 49.
Going to look into them, hoping one of them is parts for the other and maybe they'll sell me a roof skin.

I saw them when I was walking to get my lunch one day. Very small view from the path I took. Many days later I was eating lunch in my truck and was thinking how I could not see them so I walked over to the gate and barely
was able to get a peak. So I asked another neighbor if I could walk through there back lot to get a better view. It took getting closer and closer to see them before I was sure what they were.
I'll see if I can find a camera at work or I'll bring one tomorrow.
Have an insider looking into finding the owner.

Thats pretty funny now that I see they are visable from a busy side street.
I never go that way and sure enough this morning there they are for all the world to see. Well the one high up anyway. And I noticed it has a sunroof, which may not matter if the part I need is far enough back.

These pics show why I would be interested in a donor panel.
A smart man would sell the rusty dented beast to a bodyman and stop dreaming of a Fontana headed 302 Jimmy powerplant for the thing.

The top splits off at the drip rail. If I remember correctly the drip rail is a separate piece. From that inside photo it looks like the structural pieces of both the top and the side are damaged. That's more serious than I had imagined.

To remove the top you remove a series of bolts down each side, and then cut the leaded seams on each side front and back. At the moment I don't recall what I've done in the rear opening, though I've tried to preserve those because so often the door opening is rusty.

I'm not a body man, but I think you are going to want to straighten that bent internal structure before opening the top to replace the damaged part of the roof.

I enjoyed the Volvo pictures. I'm another one who has looked at an old 122 as a possible project. I thought of it as a fun first car for my kids. Since they are grown and gone and I never bought one I guess that's not going to happen.
