Which re-pop sport mirrors?

I want to take the big mirrors off my truck and put the sport mirrors back on. I'd love to find a set of NOS but they seems to be pretty hard to find. I have seen several posts about LMCs mirrors not being up to snuff.

Who has the best quality reproduction sport mirrors? I have been shopping with ECE. Anyone have a review of their sport mirrors?

EDIT: My truck still has the original holes for the sport mirrors. The mirrors were removed and a cover plate was installed at some point. I'm betting since the original gasket is still there, the plate on the inside of the door is too.

Id think there all by the same company

ECE probably doesnt stock the mirrors, ive found there mostly suspension stuff. i orerd gas tank and arm rests they had to order both.

I orderd from some kansas company and shipping was like 8 weeks cause they didnt stock em either.

heard good things from tim christian in East Tn. He'll get my next order. I always forget about him lol.

The ones tri pro sells are nice . I have them on my truck. Problem with most sport mirrors is that when you break a glass you buy a new mirror. The glass is not to be had for under the cost of the mirror.

Thanks. Is this the same Tri Pro? www.tri-proautomotive.com

Anyone else? I'd really like to hear from those who have ordered and installed a set.

Still have the holes. If you look in this pic you can see a plate where the mirrors were. Thanks Again.

No problems with vibration? I think all the problems I have been reading about may be with the larger mirrors and not the sport mirrors.

Thanks Again,

Re: Which re-pop sport mirrors?

I got mine from Tri-Pro. Great service, just give him a call.
You will also nee the metal plate that goes inside the door.
Note: The factory locations of the right and left mirrors are NOT the same.

For a list of vendors, go to the link below and scroll down to vendors.

Re: Which re-pop sport mirrors?

The mirrors like most parts are made by the same companies so their is not a wide variety of quality. We sell the same ones eveyone sells for $28.00 each.
I would go NOS if you find them or rechrome. Any glass shop can make the glass

Re: Which re-pop sport mirrors?

Thanks Mike. It is still going to be a couple of months before she's road ready. I'll just keep my eyes open for some NOS or good driver quality originals.
