Re: WTT front bumper brackets

I think olblue is saying that the 71-72 4x4 brackets are by themselves.

Re: WTT front bumper brackets

Yea....I knew that.....which is why I'm asking for 71-72 brackets.

But they gotta be 4 x 4 brackets....different size.

Re: WTT front bumper brackets

I have a nice set for $45 shipped (do you need the small inner brackets also?)or trade for Blazer/Jimmy bucket seat brackets, or top to body brackets. If interested I can get pics this week.

Re: WTT front bumper brackets

How long are they from hole to hole, so I know I'm not buying what I already have.

I don't need the upper brackets but the lower would be cool.

As long as they aren't rusted or bent....and they are the right ones....that works for me.

Pictures would be good.

Now...I've got a set of 2wd brackets for sale ;-)

Harry, are you sure that your pictured complete '72 setup is not a jimmy or maybe a blazer that was running a 70 and earlier type bumper? Your pictured outer brackets are 4wd/K-series, but they look like GMC K-series/Chevy 70 & prior K-series type brackets to me. The 71/2 Chevy 4wd/K outer brackets have a relief stamped into them for the bumper mounted turn signal housing sockets and are also a bit longer, have a look at some of your other 71/2 chevy 4wd's for the differences or I could try to get a couple pics tomorrow. Just trying to save you guys some time and grief.

Re: WTT front bumper brackets

Wes, Good point, that could be a '72 Jimmy frame, didn't think it would be different than Blazer, but maybe some brackets are? Pictures of the different front/rear bumper brackets would be great.
scoyote, I'll hold off shipping untill we are sure.
Thanks,
Harry
