Measurements for door mirrors

Can somebody please give me the right measurements for the square mirrors. Maybe this is a dumb question, but how far is the mirror to be placed from, let's say the from edge of the door?
I see two numbers, 20 and 35 but what are the measurements for these points.
The righthand side is further away from the edge than the left side, am I right?
Hope someone can help me out here. Thanks in advance.

Cya,
Edmond

That is about half confusing! You could always use the common sense method, sit in the truck and have a helper hold the mirror, mark the spot, and then go to the other side and do the same. And make sure the vent windows will open, hehee!

You are missing some imformation. As you are thinking 20 and 35 are the centerlines. Do you have the whole manual or just that pic. I would think the manual would have the dimensions. Yes the right one is futher back. If it helps I just measured my truck and the front screw is 7 inches from the front of the door on the drivers door and 8 1/4 inches on the passenger

Talking

Tom Hand has the right dimensions for the mirrors. I have not been able to figure out what the printed numbers are in the instructions. They must relate back to some reference point.

Maybe someone will come up with the explanation.

Tom I do have the whole book, but I could not find the meaning of these lines 20 & 35. My first thought was that line 20 was the middle of the vent window.
The book is without index, and many pages don't have numbers so searching for the right page can be a pain in the you know what!! Only some pages from 71 and 72 have page numbers, but there is no index so that doesn't help much. It's not a book I use much.

Thanks for the measurements!!

Cya,
Edmond
