Cowling question?
I am going to pull my cowling off to install new squirters. I want to put screen across the back side of the cowling before I reinstall it. What are some of you guys useing on you cowlings? And how are you attaching it to the cowling? I was think of useing black screen, and just use some type of sealant to hold it in place, hell maybe even JB weld the screen to the cowling.
What you think? Sam

I used black fabric (or nylon, I'm not sure exactly what the stuff is) screen, and like tha fact that it's not really noticeable. The guy that painted my truck put it on with silicone I believe, I wasn't there when he did it. My truck stays under the truckport, so I don't worry about any fading from the sun that might happen if it was out in the open all the time. It's been there 3 years and still looks good.
