Reproduction gas tanks

I'm looking for a reproduction in cab gas tank for a "71 C 10. I just painted my truck so I do not want to relocate the tank. Anyone purchase one lately? Where did you buy it, how much was it, how did it fit? I heard the ones made in Canada are the best? - who sells them?

Yes, you want the tanks made in Canada. I bought mine from Goodmark. Fit almost perfect. One thing I noticed was the 'good' tanks have a corrugated filler neck, like the OEM tanks do. The cheap 'don't fit for beans' Taiwan tanks filler neck is smooth.

There is a free original tank in my shop leaning against the wall near Indy.

Kudos to you Richard. Imaginary rep points given.

Just another reason why this board is so great.

I guess I was in a big hurry. I found a place that sells the Canadian made tank (Inline Tubing) and bought one. Thank you for your offer!!!

Well 70cst ... I understand the appreciation shown for the free tank offer (said thanks myself). What the rest of your post means escapes me other than you must have listened to "The Wheels on the Bus" too many times on your Ipod.
