Are these '72 side mirrors

Can anyone tell me......do these look like mirrors from our year trucks? A part number off the black gasket says 9829866.

I could be wrong, but i think that they are either from the next style up (73-87) or aftermarket. I took a set off of a 79 door once, but i have also saw mirrors close to those new at a parts store once.

good luck

'72 mirrors should have three screws; two on one side, one on the far side. Hope that helps. If the mirror only has two- not a '72.

Looks like a car mirror...the bracket screws to the door, and the mirror arm locks onto the leading edge and then is held to bracket with one screw under mirror head.

Have to agree, they look like car or aftermarket.
