I have 15x7's on front of my 67 thats converted to disc brakes with drop spindles. If I ran a wider wheel I would have serious issues. I am almost rubbing the lower control arm myself and have actually knocked a wheel weight off cornering hard. LOL Sounded like a bomb went off! Any way you can clearance your caliper if needed but remember a little off and fit the wheel repeat this process til you are clear of interference. I used spindles for 82-87 chevy pickup and the centerlink and tierod ends also. This was done using original crossmember upper an lower control arms changed balljoints to the later years and was very simple.
