Re: Long time member joins 67-72 crowd
Yeah. Same in Pima County, only the testing criteria isn't so strict. They don't look under our hoods. They don't care about obsolete equipment like A.I.R. You just have to blow clean on the CO and HC emissions.
I also heard with the antique plates, you are limited to a few thousand miles a year. Not sure how they can enforce that. Possibly the same with the vintage plates. I have a '69 - '72 AZ bright yellow plate. [I think it was off my Dad's '64 Olds wagon, now long gone.] But I think it would cost more to get a "new" old plate that it does to continue with my normal dark red and white.

Your truck would look better with a 1955 DeSoto grill. HAHA. Well my 1950 Mercury looked good with one. Nice truck.

Nice truck! What size is the lift on it? 6 or 8? I have a 6 and yours seems to sit higher than mine. Maybe because mine is an LWB.... ?

Re: Long time member joins 67-72 crowd
Nice Ride! I'm building my 72 with a 67 small window cab. Rolled Pan, filled Stake Holes, Shaved Side Lights, Roll down electric rear window, possibly chopping the Top, One piece electric windows, 89 Deville tailights, Custom Pearl enhanced paint and late model bench seat. I'm also using LED's wherever I can. It should take me about two years to do as I have Grandkids! lol Al W.
